Ways To Wear The Skinny Jeans

Casual and comfy. Easy to wear and wash. Very stylish and trendy, as long as you know how to wear it and what to wear with it.

Tired of the guessing game?

Truth be told, I am willing to bet every single dime in my pocket right now that every person reading this post this very moment owns a pair of jeans. I mean, who doesn’t” Skinny jeans are versatile, fashionable, easy to wear, stylishly cool, easy to find and easy to care for. There is a pair of jeans available at every price point, so you won’t have to go broke trying to rock one.

However, even with the raw and untamed look of jeans, I think one of the most favorite jeans of many is the skinny jeans. I also bet every single person reading this has wondered, at some point or another, how to wear skinny jeans and still look different every day. There’s only so many ankle boot-and-sweater or white shirt and skinny jeans combos a girl can take, so here are some of my humble suggestions on how to wear a skinny jeans.

Tips When Wearing Skinny Jeans

Whether styling beat-up skinnies with a pair of unexpectedly dressy shoes, or choosing pairs with cool details like zippers, rips, or cuffs, wearing skinny jeans is exciting for sure!

Choose the right tone and color. Bright jeans and loud patterns that can direct attention to your whole outfit is something that you can try during Summer or Spring. Wearing these will give you a fun, trendy and hip look. But if you want the skinny jeans to actually make you look skinnier, then pick a darker solid color.

Choose the right size — not too loose nor too tight. Most jeans are made of denim, a material that is not as flexible as other materials. If you want your jeans to stretch a bit, you should choose a pair that is a denim and spandex blend. The spandex in the jeans will allow you to bend and move more easily and may make wearing the jeans more comfortable.

Wearing skinny jeans is really great, especially if you have got some nice sneakers to show for your outfit. The skinny jeans will make the sneakers pop out and it will make you look even taller. Move Away From The Norm With Ripped Pants

When I was still studying, way back in college, denim pants that were washed out, faded, ripped and holed were really popular. Some of the rips and holes came from wearing the denim pants naturally, while some were pre – made and included upon buying the item. There was a joke circulating among my groups that “The more holes and rips your jeans had, the more you have to save on lunch money!” — or something like that. Since denim jeans were already stylish to begin with, I never had problems rocking them out during casual occasions. I wore my distressed denim with literally everything, alongside sweaters, hoodies, button-down and even simple tees.  Such was my love for my ripped and worn out jeans that I couldn’t imagine the day when I had to wear jeans that weren’t tattered and ripped up.

Now, as soon as I left school, I realized that wearing tattered and ripped pants isn’t that cool anymore — I mean, I have to wear proper attire for work now, right? Since then, tattered jeans became a memory forgotten, bringing back nostalgia from  my earlier days.

But lo and behold, ripped jeans are coming back in style the past few years.  This clothing item has a super casual feel, and it can be hard to make it look put-together and polished. But it’s definitely not impossible! Wearing it is just wearing normal denim jeans, but you have to wear clothes that actually go along with your “tattered” and “ripped” look to create a uniform style that will not look too far apart. Just imagine wearing a classy and preppy top with your denim jeans that are ripped and torn apart — isn’t that too conflicting?

I like to wear my denim ripped jeans with some nice tee if possible. Tees are the safest things to wear alongside it, so check out these ripped knee jeans from Miamasvin, which is a perfect representation of the style I am trying to emulate.

Simplicity Is Key, As Seen In Audrey Hepburn’s Style

For decades, leggings have become one of the most popular alternatives for women who want to experience comfort but do not want to deal with the heavy denim pants or the limited styles of slacks. Although it is gaining popularity on modern women’s staples and closets, it is actually known that the leggings were heavily popularized by on screen icons during the peak of Hollywood classics. One of the most iconic of these Hollywood icons is Audrey Hepburn, as seen in her stature as one of the most popular trendsetters in Hollywood history. And although today’s celebrities such as Heidi Klum still wear their leggings proudly, nothing beats the simplicity and classic look that Audrey Hepburn has brought to the functional women’s leggings.

As seen in her style, there is so much to be learnt from Audrey Hebpurn when it comes to making a simple style look classic and elegant. If you try to look and study how Audrey Hepburn chooses her clothes, it’s all about comfort and utility first. After establishing a common theme on her clothes, she then makes that simple look turn into something elegant with her own sense of style and confidence. Have you noticed how Audrey Hepburn seems to try and stay away from the norm? Instead of wearing heels, Audrey wears boots and flats. Instead of wearing women’s skirts, Audrey wears black leggings. When she was cast as the character Jo Stockton in the musical film “Funny Face” with her all-black second-skin outfit, one cannot help but admire how Audrey pulled off this look with confidence. During a time when wearing skirt was considered the norm, Audrey made a statement by wearing skin-fitting black leggings that really started the popularity of wearing pants among women. Remember, during Audrey’s time, women were refused entrance in pubs and restaurants if they are wearing pants instead of skirts. But, because of Audrey’s confidence and popularity, she was able to wear leggings and make it a global trend and fashion phenomenon.

Truth be told, leggings can be worn as an outer layer for a skirt or a short dress, or they can also be worn as an alternative for denim or pants. If in doubt and you need inspiration to pull off this kind of look, don’t hesitate to check out this essential pull-on leggings from Style Nanda. There are so many looks that you can get from wearing leggings, so be inspired by the fashion trend that Audrey Hepburn started decades ago!

Difference Between Washed vs Raw Classic Jeans

Jeans are some of the most utilized, most popular and most worn garments not only for men but also for women. During the early days, sailors and working men wore jeans because they are strong and sturdy yet easy to wear. They do not compromise quality yet they are still comfortable to wear around. The first jeans were popularized by Levi Strauss, founder of the popular clothing brand Levi’s, and the rest was history as they say. Today, there are so many variations and styles of jeans that you can have a lot of choices when it comes to exploring what you want to wear for your bottoms. However, there are two main kinds of denim jeans — washed and raw. I will try to explain the differences between these two denim jeans below.

After being dyed post-production, there are two things that are done to a denim jean — it is either washed or left untouched and raw.

When a denim is called “raw denim”, nothing is done to it after production. The denim articles is left as it is and no treatment or distressing is further applied to it.

On the other hand, when a denim is washed, it means that the denim jeans are washed after being dyed. After going out the production line, most denim jeans are washed in order to make them softer in texture. Also, washing helps to reduce and eliminate denim shrinkage, which could cause fitting problems when the owner washes it after his or her first use. By washing the denim, manufacturers help avoid misfits that can cause buyers to become disappointed.

Aside from being washed, the “washed denim” is actually a term to denote the artificial distressed look produced by washing the denim jeans. This look, which aims to produce a “worn” appearance, is a hit to those people who love the faded and old look of a worn jeans but don’t like to spend weeks, months or years in order to get it. The appeal of these artificially distressed denim jeans can be appreciated by those who spent years just wearing their jeans everyday in the hopes of making them look old and faded. As such, being able to wear one right off the bat is something that a lot of people would love to do.

Choosing between raw and washed denim is just a matter of preference. At the end of the day, both styles are good and would work depending on what look you want to go for. If you are on the hunt for a pair of washed jeans, I highly recommend this basic washed classic jeans from Little Black!

Have You Tried Wearing High Waist Jeans Yet?

Although denim jeans is undeniably something that held its staying power (and will continue to do so) as a perennial staple in the world fashion, it is the cut and the style of jeans that frequently changes as time. high rise, medium rise, low rise and ultra low rises — denim jeans are making a comeback in so many varieties of styles and the variations are only adding up as time goes on. Although low waist jeans have been in fashion for quite some time now and are very popular among the young generation, it is the high waist jeans that are always a hit among the fashionista. Whether you want to tuck in your top, wear a crop or let it go down low, the high waist jeans is versatile enough to accommodate a lot of fashion styles that you like to experiment with.

High waist jeans typically sit above the waist and were very popular a few decades ago. Since old styles and classic fashion trends periodically make a comeback after a few decades or so, the high waisted jeans are starting to become a hit in modern styles again. The thing is. buying high waisted jeans is really tricky and complicated because not all women can get away with this kind of look. This kind of jeans would look nice on you if you got a model body — which means you got to be tall and skinny to make this kind of look work for you. The high-waisted jeans look can appear really attractive with the right figure type, but unfortunately, it is not a universally flattering cut. A lot of women have problems wearing the high-waist cut and it is justifiable given the kind of look that this kind of jeans give.

For example, if you are a short woman then you most likely would have a problem wearing the high waist cut. If you do not have the torso length to pull off a high-waisted pants, you would somehow look smaller and might even appear smaller than your actual height (which is something you do not want). If you are tall and lanky, the high waist jeans would really look nice on you.

Pulling off the high waist jeans might be complicated, but the rewards are definitely fulfilling. If you plan to purchase your first high waist jeans today, head over to Dabagirl to see this High Waist Dark Skinny Denim Jeans up for sale!

Ways To Make Wearing Jeans Look Interesting

As one of the most common and basic bottoms not only for men but also for women, denim jeans can really become tedious to wear sometimes. When you see yourself wearing jeans and white shirt, you can get bored with the outfit quickly. You know why? Because this is the same outfit that people have been wearing for years and years without end, and this outfit is something that has been already utilized a thousand times before. You can see the basic white shirt and denims jeans everywhere you go, and this is not a knack because people know that this basic outfits looks really well. The downside of this is that you would look like a hundred other people too — which is something that you want to avoid.

If you want to wear some classic jeans, there are a lot of ways to do it without looking like everyone else. For starters, a great example would be to wear it along with a cropped top in a dark color, and it would be really great if you can wear some dark red plaid pattern for your top too. Dark red plaid looks really nice and flattering when combined with some dark toned denim jeans and this simple style can be finished off by wearing some chestnut brown boots. Now you don’t have to look like everyone else and you can also look slimmer and thinner with the added height from your boots.

If you want to be a bit cool and you want to create a street wear vibe with your outfit, you can also wear your denim jeans with some hoodies. When wearing hoodies with jeans, try to make your jean’s colors as close to the hoodie as possible. What I mean is, when you wear a white or grey hoodie for your top, try to match it by wearing a washed or a faded denim for your bottoms. Contrasting colors are nice to execute sometimes, but when you wear something that needs to look cohesive such as a denim bottom and a hoodie top, going for a complementing scheme would look so much better in my opinion.

At the end of the day, jeans are some of the most worn bottoms for both men and women. In order to stand out, you need to wear it in ways that exceed that of the normal “jeans and white shirt” combination. If you want some nice-looking and comfortable denim jeans, why don’t you head to one of my favorite online stores, Miamasvin, and check out this slit hem boot cut jeans? This is very nice and will really fit well if you try to wear it with some boots on your jeans!
