Working out is something that I really enjoy. Being able to lose some sweat over the gym, stretching out stiff muscles and losing some needed pounds while at it is definitely something that I would gladly do! Flattering Sheath Dress For Me!

If there is a style of dress that I would certainly not get tired of wearing, the sheath dress is definitely on top of my list! A classic dress that was made to fit the body and hoursglass shape of a woman, the sheath dress can be flattering and practical to wear for women of all ages. Truthfully, if I were asked to recommend a piece of clothing to a family or a friend, I will say that one of the most versatile clothing that every woman should have is a sheath dress. Skirt Leggings As A Comfortable Clothing For Little Kids

Little kids love to go out and play, as they always do. They have lots of energy to spare (unlike us adults strutting and getting tired easily). With this in mind, it is important to make sure that kids get the right amount of comfort and protection as they go out there and do what they do best — being kids!

Chevron Pattern – Do’s And Dont’s

Fashion is filled with so many different patterns to choose from. Plaid, floral, geometric and camouflage are just some of the examples of the most common print patterns seen in clothes nowadays. Other prints that are also inspired by indigenous and ethnic roots are the Pendleton prints inspired by ancient Aztec and Egyptian hieroglyph patterns.  Having said that, one of the most underrated yet eye-refreshing prints that is both simple and captivating is the chevron pattern. Easy to look at and very stylish when present in minimal amounts, the chevron is one of those patterns that never looks so tiring to the eyes (when done correctly!)
As described, A chevron (also spelled cheveron, especially in older documents) is a V-shaped pattern. The word is usually used in reference to a kind of fret in architecture, or to a badge or insignia used in military or police uniforms to indicate rank or length of service, or in heraldry and the designs of flags (see flag terminology). The symbol is also used on highway signs to guide drivers around curves. The chevron occurs in early art including designs on pottery and rock carvings. Examples can be found approximately 1800 BC in archaeological recovery of pottery designs from the palace of Knossos on Crete in the modern day country of Greece.

In fashion, the Chevron pattern is one that can be considered “a double edged sword”. Why? Because although it can look amazing, it can also be quite distracting and “busy” too. The true power of the chevron print is showcased when it is applied in small, minimal patterns though. For example, a black shirt in a monotone shade with a small addition of the chevron print is a much better shirt to look at than a pure chevron print. When you fill-up a space with big chevron prints, it somehow creates an optical illusion that is not pleasing to the eyes, and can even cause dizziness at times. However, when placed in right amounts, the Chevron print can be quite amazing.

Don’t believe me? Here is a great example of a perfectly executed, minimal chevron print placement. Notice how the chevron print is placed right at the middle of the chevron knit shirt in order to attract attention, enclosed by a solid color from both the upper and lower portions of the shirt. One of my most favorite functional fashion bags is the cross body bag. Because of their variety and ability to be worn by both men and women, they are one of the most versatile bags around — and one of the most stylish, casual bags too! Because of its design, cross – body bags are very secure and it gives me easy and direct access to the items inside my bag. As with any other bag such as backpacks or shoulder bags, the materials used and construction of the body bag might vary from one brand to another. Wearing A Classic V-Neck Sweater

As seen in a number of women’s clothing styles ranging from including tank tops, dresses, shirts, blouses, knit tops, formal gowns, and sweaters — there is no stopping the popularity of the v-neck. With a neckline that is wide at the top and slants straight down forming a letter V at the mid-bottom, v-necks are nice deviations from the usual half circle or turtle necklines. Some v-necks can be shallow, deep, narrow or plunging. V-necks also have a way of “lengthening” your neck because of its plunging shape, and this makes them quite popular among women who have short or wide necks.

Because the V-shaped neckline offers women the ability to display a little more skin than what the turtleneck allows, it has an appeal that other necklines do not have. A low-cut V-neck sweater can be worn for a date or a casual night out with family and friends, while v-neck tank tops can be worn during summer season when the weather starts to turn hot and humid. Although there is nothing said on how the v-neck should be worn, choosing one that perfectly complements your neckline as well as make you feel comfortable wearing it around are two bench marks that you can use to choose the right v-neck top for you. Some women aren’t comfortable wearing v-necks with too plunging necklines while others seem to carry this style a lot better.

As for me, my favorite style for v-neck remains the sweaters because it gives me dimensions that no other style can give. Because most sweaters and pull-overs are usually round-neck or turtle neck, wearing a v-neck sweater top gives me a new look that I can use for my layering purposes. When the weather starts to get chilly around November onward, I wear my V-neck sweaters with cardigans to complete my Fall look. Sometimes, when I don’t feel like wearing my cardigans, i will just get my favorite muffler or scarf in order to add more texture and warmth to my attire. Having said that, this only proves the versatility of the v-neck sweater type — you can’t wear scarves with a turtleneck sweater top without feeling suffocated, but you can easily pull it off with a v-neck.
