Since Coachella season is closing in, that only means more and more reason to style up for the festival. Over the years, the bohemian, gypsy look has started to dominate the scene. The free-spirited look or gypsy / boho look has always been one of my favorites, and I have some tips and tricks on how to wear the gypsy look.
Since it became a big social media trend a few years ago, the boho style has always been known as an avenue of fashion focusing on self expression. The independent and free-spirited style inspired by the gypsy movement has created a series of garments putting up fashion pieces. What I love about it is that they are not only eclectic and comfortable, gypsy and boho clothing leaves us girls a lot of freedom to choose whatever item to wear, without judging us.
However, there are still things that you need to bear in min to avoid looking weird and unflattering in boho. Here are some tips that I can give you in order to look good while wearing
Get Inspired By Vintage Items.
Open your parents’ and grandparents’ old cabinets and chest and see what fashion items you can get. A wide brown vintage belt can be used to accentuate a loose paisley top. Boho is all about freedom, and freedom means using up everything in your house, right?
Do play with colors.
Boho style comes with different bold colors. Mix and match patterns with the same hue or pair them with earth tones.
Don’t Wear Lots Of Colors
Boho might be all about freedom and individuality, but it doesn’t mean that you are allowed to look funny as a clown by combining colors. You can try to wear colorful paisley designs for your pants or top, but try not to combine colorful tops and bottoms.
Do play with accessories.
Long necklaces made up of beads, pearls or feather accents is a great way to accessorize your. It is not considered bohemian if you stick to one simple accessory, so go for that authentic boho look by wearing necklaces, hand laces, bracelets and even floral headbands!
